This week we are learning how to identify the positions first through fifth. We will be using math vocabulary such as first, second, third, fourth and fifth. Kindergarten will continue to focus on number words zero-ten. We will be learning to read these words and use them in sentences. Students will be learning beginning addition skills during centers and morning work. We will be doing picture addition this week.

This week students will learn about penguin adaptations and the life cycle of a penguin from chick to adult.
